Sally is a professional ultra/mountain runner, recently winning the Toughest Footrace on the Planet, Badwater 135. For almost two decades Sally has championed the importance of strength training and mental training as essential tools for every person whether beginner or elite. She’s a trainer, running coach, and the mastermind behind hundreds of creative workouts that have kept her injury free and helped thousands worldwide. Her naturally positive and motivating style of coaching has made her a frequently sought after coach & speaker. She can also be found on the Nike+Run Club App, the COROS app, and she’s a well loved iFit trainer. Sally runs professionally for Nike and is often found training on her local mountains in Southern California where she logs 100-120 miles running a week in addition to 4-5 days of training in the gym. As a mother of two active kids and a busy endurance coaching business, Sally often writes and speaks about balancing REAL life with REAL goals. It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
