Welcome to our KickStrong Program! This program will address 3 main areas to improve your kicks! 1. Technique We will progress you from the foundations of kicking technique as a whole. These techniques will help in both grounded and aerial kicking. 2. Mobility We will emphasize active control throughout your full range of motion. Specific mobility is needed for proper kicking form. 3. Stability In kicking, stability comes from the upper body as well as lower body. We include drills to improve your stability in kicking, learning to utilize your body as a whole. This 6 week program is broken up into 3 phases: Phase 1 (wks 1-2) Phase 2 (wks 3-4) Phase 3 (wks 5-6) Each phase will have drills and exercises that address each component with progressions for each phase. This program is great for all levels regardless of ability or martial art background. This program can be used with other training as a warmup, cool down or movement prep. If you want to bump up the intensity, try all exercises in a workout for 2 rounds or minimize your rest times. Lets get started!

Physical Therapist & Tricking Athlete

Neil Toussaint is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Athletic Trainer, Health and Wellness Coach to top performers in the Atlanta TV/Film industry. He has also served the Broadway performing arts community in productions such as Wicked, Moulin Rouge, Lion King & more. He got his start in the athletic performance and recovery world through the practice of Martial Arts Tricking. Tricking is an acrobatic discipline combining movements from martial arts, gymnastics, breakdancing, and more. As a Tricking Athlete of 17+ years, he is passionate about helping his clients live a life without limitations. It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
