Hi! I'm Megan—a Certified BIRTHFIT Coach, Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and Doula with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I’ve spent over six years walking alongside women in their prenatal and postpartum journeys, and I’m deeply passionate about helping you feel informed, supported, and strong through every stage of motherhood.
Over seven years ago, I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. I had a solid background in fitness and exercise science, but I still felt completely lost. No one told me how to move or eat differently. I was nauseous, throwing up, and dealing with back pain—but all I heard was, “That’s normal.”
So I stayed quiet and kept doing my usual workouts—even though they didn’t feel right. My first birth was rough. I was scared into an induction, told my baby might be “too big” (he ended up being my smallest), and tore badly. When I asked how many stitches I needed, my OB said, “Too many to count.” Postpartum was brutal. I felt broken and unsupported.
With my second baby, I wanted something better—but it was 2020. Gyms were closed, support was minimal, and I tried to adapt high-intensity workouts, but they didn’t feel right. That labor was fast. I barely got the epidural. I tore again. Recovery was still hard.
After that, I was done just surviving. I became a BIRTHFIT Coach, thinking it would be about fitness—but it opened my eyes. I learned how intentional movement, breath, and education can reshape the pregnancy and postpartum experience. I learned that birth is meant to transform us—not break us.
I discovered that strategic training can reduce discomfort, lower the chances of unnecessary interventions, support smoother labor, and ease postpartum recovery. I realized I had always done my best—but there was a better way.
With my third baby, I finally had the tools, knowledge, and support I’d been craving—and it made all the difference. I didn’t just survive—I thrived.
Pregnancy and birth don’t have to be something we just “get through.” You deserve to feel strong, empowered, and deeply connected—to your body, your baby, and your experience.
This is why I do what I do. You deserve real answers, compassionate guidance, and a team that truly supports you.
I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.
