About Luke Jones

Hi, I’m Luke - a Movement & Mobility Coach based in the UK. At Hero Movement, I help athletes & everyday people build a healthy, heroic lifestyle filled with movement and adventure. We do this through a wide range of practices, including mobility work, functional movement, calisthenics, conventional strength training, rope flow & rotational training, breath work, nutrition, recovery strategies, and more. I’m a former multi-sport competitive athlete, training and competing in MMA, athletics, football and more. After a cocktail of injuries and health issues left me sidelined, I set out on a journey to reclaim my wellness and rebuild my physical movement base. Through my site and here on Playbook, I share the practices and tools that I discovered on my search. You’ll find mobility plans, strength programs, endurance & breathwork practices, and various skill-based workouts to help you craft a well rounded movement toolkit. The idea is not just to help you build the physical, but also to hone the mental. So you have the resilience and capacity to overcome life’s challenges, and be the hero of your own story. What are the goals of the program?
At home, craft a solid foundation of functional mobility, from which you can unlock movement freedom + develop new skills. Understand various ways to reduce pain + minimise your injury risk. Become more in tune with your body and be able to adopt stable positions that maximise strength + power output.
How to get the best outcome of the program?
Commit to a daily practice of 10-15 minutes for four weeks and I’m confident you’ll notice positive changes in your ability to move with freedom and ease.
How to schedule the program into a week?
Pick a time that works best for your lifestyle! Morning is great and is sometimes easiest to stick to. Evening can also work well - mobility work is a great way to wind down before bed for a great nights sleep!
What do I need to participate in this program?
Nothing fancy! - A foam roller and then some tennis/lacrosse/dog balls. - An open space, wall, couch and mirror can also come in handy. - A positive attitude is always a good bonus!
Who are these workouts for (skill-level)?
Mobility Reset is great for complete beginners, weekend warriors, seasoned athletes and everyone in between. If you have a body and you want to move it well, Mobility is a key part of the picture. Whether you want to stand on your hands, hit a PR in the gym or simply be able to play freely with your kids, mobility is the foundation
