Hey there, I’m Kristy! I’m so glad you’re here and I can’t wait to share this journey with you. This app is designed to inspire your pole training AND your mind.
I’ve split this app into ‘Programs’, and ‘Quickies’. ‘Programs’ range from 7 days to 12 weeks and focus on achieving a specific goal or trick. ‘Quickies’ are workouts or mindset sessions that range from 3- 60 minutes in duration. These ‘Quickies’ are designed as easy GO-TO workouts/sessions when you’re in the studio and want to take the planning out of your practice.
A little more about me… With a dance background, I started pole back in 2007 when it wasn’t what it is today, and most studios were run out of garages. Nevertheless I was instantly hooked and I saw the possibilities creatively. Fast forward a couple of years and I decided to open my own studio as I’d already been teaching dance for a number of years, and it felt like the right step. In 2009 the very first PhysiPole Studios was opened and over the next decade it would grow to have 17 locations across 5 states in Australia. During that time, I performed and toured teaching all over the world After 3 babies I set myself a goal, to perform on Australia's Got Talent... well, I ended up winning! Which is still crazy to say now. By 2022, after covid and what seemed like a lifetime not performing, America's Got Talent presented an opportunity to audition, I couldn't pass it up and so began the most intense training and preparation of my life. I’m so grateful for that experience and for placing runner up on the biggest stage in the world. It’s something I’ll never forget.
