These are my signature workouts that follow my personal method for overall fitness! I change them every month but the foundation is the same. These workouts are designed to be done at home or at the gym primarily using dumbbells and bodyweight but I add in barbell and Hex bar. Here’s a list of what I’d like to see you progress to, even at home. They’re going to change slightly every 8 weeks to keep things a little bit interesting but you can expect some similar movements so we can start mastering exercises. I’d like to see you challenge yourself with weight choices as this is for the purposes of strength and conditioning all in one. If you just keep lifting heavy and try to get stronger, that’s the right mindset. This workout should be highly scalable and something that all levels can do. I’ll do these myself from time to time to supplement some of the other things I’m doing. You don’t need to work out two hours a day to get results, but you do need to be effective and Intense with your workouts. So pick up the heavier weights, move your body with intention, put on your music and jam out, and just enjoy the fact that you can move your body, and do this type of exercise! About Kendra Jarratt

Nutrition, Strength & Behavior Coach

I grew up in Brunswick, Maine and have lived in Portland, Maine for over 20 years. I am married and have a 23 year-old son, Jack, who is currently serving in the Army. He’s an incredible human being and a major motivator for me to stay healthy and strong. Moose, my six year German Shepherd, is a huge part of my life too; can’t imagine life without an animal. In my early 20's I became a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and focused on combining balanced nutrition with versatile functional strength training. My career was as fulfilling and interesting then as it is now, although I stepped away from the fitness industry and into the consistency and security of a corporate job. ​ The fitness industry called me back. Now that I am older and wiser, I've discovered my life experiences, nutrition and fitness consistency in my own life, and a psychology degree provided me with a unique perspective to help clients with a wide variety of goals, including: Weight loss/gain Strength building Athletic performance Physique improvements Fit lifestyle & mindset coaching​ ​ I've been an athlete my whole life and found myself unmotivated and depressed after a running injury and arthritis diagnosis when I was 42. I gained weight and was so uncomfortable in my body; I had all but given up. After some serious soul-searching and a better understanding of what my over 40 body needs, I spent two years rehabbing my body and digging myself out of the hole I was in. I was able to return to the things I love and now I help others do the same. I found my true passion and mission in life; to help you feel comfortable in your own body, whatever that means to you. I’m very excited to be able to provide the type of workout programming I do now, and have done in the past to people of all fitness levels!! LFG🔥🔥🔥
