This series is Moderate Intermediate level. All Vinyasa classes are Intermediate, while the Yinyasa and meditations are open level. This gives it a Moderate Intermediate level feel, due to the blend.
What equipment do I need for this series?
You'll be most comfortable with a yoga mat. Two yoga blocks and one strap are ideal, but I always offer you yoga prop alternatives in case you don't have them handy.
Are there specific skills we train in with these classes?
Yes! Each class focuses on a specific peak posture, while working through the emotional body. Skills include: Week 1: Half Moon, Flying Pigeon, Middle Splits Week 2: Revolved Hand To Foot, Bird of Paradise, Seated Compass Week 3: Headstand, Spirit Dive, Handstand Week 4: Sun Bird, Wheel Variations, King Pigeon
What emotions do we work with in this series?
The anatomical and emotional focus of each week is as follows: Week 1: HIPS (creativity, disconnection, guilt) Week 2: TWISTS (discipline, motivation, shame) Week 3: INVERSIONS (confidence, curiosity, fear) Week 4: BACKBENDS (joy, vulnerability, grief)
Do I need to do the classes in order?
Nope! Feel free to go towards the classes that you're craving the most.

This was such a beautiful practice 😍 I don't have a forearm wheel so dreaded doing it, but I modified with my prop and found it sweetly challenging leaning into the vulnerability aspect. Also very good for pincha prep.
