This program is for people who are comfortable with lifting weights. It’s not specifically advanced, but I want you to have some background with lifting. It’s important that you aren’t coming in completely blind and starting from scratch with this program. If you are, I want to ensure you’re starting with light weights and dialing in your form while keeping your core engaged. This is incredibly important with lifting and it’s definitely harder to master when pregnant. I’m so excited to have you here and to get you moving during pregnancy and staying strong so you can hold your little babe all day as you heal, then get back to lifting before you know it! And this program was created so it can be performed at any time during pregnancy. The program is not progressive overload, but it does continually change movements based on the woman growing and the physical changes that do take place throughout. For example, you’ll see Bulgarian split squats at the beginning, then split squats, then single leg squats to bench, as time progresses. You’ll still be challenging yourself throughout the program, no matter what stage or month of pregnancy you are in.
