Welcome! MASS Method is the foundation of my training program. It is organized into 4 week blocks. MASS stands for Movement, Athleticism, Strength, & Speed. The first 4-week block of instruction: MASS Method will introduce movements that you've likely never done before. Each workout is intended to familiarize you with an athletic style of training. MASS Method 2: Strength progresses your training and places a heavier emphasis of strength, hyper trophy, and linear speed into your workouts. I encourage everyone to begin with the original MASS Method, even if you are an experienced lifter. If you are experienced and would like to fold heavier lifting into the training, my recommendation is that you do so by incorporating 1-2 heavy lifts at the end of each workout. My other programs offered here: Hip Strength & Mobility and Legs Only are not intended to be used in conjunction with MASS Method. They were created for those who want to continue to follow their own programs while utilizing some of my training in their workouts.

I have more than 34,000 training hours under my belt, working with athletes ages 9 to 79 of all levels. Along the way I have developed over 300 division one, professional athletes and world champions. I have used this experience, as well as my time as a college football player and US Army Ranger to develop a unique approach to training that has proven to be effective.

Plus, trainers walk you through all exercises with easy-to-follow videos and simple written instructions. This means you’ll be able to do all the moves easily, accurately, and safely.
Do I need to purchase equipment?
It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
