This program is for someone with limited time in the gym but is still looking to build muscle and strength while improving their body composition. Block 1 (first 4 weeks) starts with the basics but you'll be working full body in supersets to get it done fast! Supersets are two workouts programmed together for a number of sets and reps. You rest in between sets after doing each workout back to back. Supersets are EXTRA efficient because you get the work done while being challenged with minimal rest in between workouts. Block 2 (last 4 weeks) includes progressive overloading principles to add a challenge to your workouts to stimulate muscle growth but still in supersets so you can get your workout done fast!

About Johana Hernandez

Hi! I’m Johana, a Precision Nutrition certified nutrition coach and AFAA fitness coach with a Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science with a Concentration in Sports Nutrition from Concordia University Chicago. I discovered my passion for nutrition and fitness at a young age while pursuing my own health goals. Eventually, I built healthy habits that have served me to this day. It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
