Welcome to the Dumbbells only Program! Excited to see you work hard in the app! I created this program after many requests to create a DB only program. It was an easy YES because, I love dumbbells and how versatile they are. You can do SO much with them and get a KILLER workout, which was exactly my goal for this 4 wk program. Feel free to do this program at home with the dumbbells you have, or at the gym. You can do it while at a hotel, or camping with your family, because all's you need is a set of dumbbells and a small area to work with! You will see videos and modifications for movements, so whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced level you will break a sweat and do the movements safely. Another important component of a successful program is rest. So built into this program is a rest day. But I couldn't just leave it at that! Rest days are perfect for focusing on habits that create daily & long term success. So I include a weekly habit/focus for you to work on, on your rest day! My name is Jill Griffiths and I am a Elite Spartan Athlete, Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, mountain runner and a mom of 3. How long are the workouts?
Workouts will run anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the area we are working.
What level of fitness do I need to have to participate in this program?
Whether you are brand new to fitness or a long time fitness fanatic, you will enjoy this program! I have videos for each movment as well as easy descriptions for you to follow. It will help you do all moves correctly, and safely and guide you as you go. You will see modifications in the description in case you are not prepared for certain movements quite yet. Get out your dumbbells and get ready to work hard!
