How to squat using the smith machine 

I know a lot of you are on the struggle bus when using the gym equipment but don’t fret my pet! I’m here to show you how to use it. 

There’s different ways to squat depending on what you want to target and also you’re anatomy. 

Different foot positions determine which area you want to target but regardless of this, there are certain cues that’s important to follow. 

The bar shouldn’t be all the way up at your neck.  Your hands should be parallel to each other.  Core should be braced, knees should not buckle in. 

Pro tip: inhale as you go down, exhale/breathe out hard as you go up.
