These repetitive movements can create a muscular imbalance in your upper body that can cause upper back and neck pain. The goal of this program is to strengthen your back and shoulder muscles to correct this postural imbalance and relieve tension in your upper body and neck.

About the program

This program is an 8 week guide designed to build strength in the posterior chain of your upper body. This includes your rear delts (shoulders) and your trapezius and rhomboid muscles, which rest between and around your shoulder blades and upper spine. The main goal behind this is to optimize and/or correct upper body posture. Sitting at a desk for long hours, or bending down/leaning forward constantly throughout the day can create a postural malalignment known as thoracic kyphosis. This refers to a rounding of the upper back, and typically causes hunched shoulders and a forward head position, causing pain in the back of the neck and shoulders. This guide is designed to build strength in those areas to resolve tension in your upper body.
