I can't believe it's been nearly 8 year ago that I was diagnosed with an immune disease and my doctor suggested it "might" improve with a better, healthier lifestyle. Almost immediately, I hit the gym. But I GAINED weight. I decided to switch to workout at home. It would mean less distractions and more time because I could leave work and immediately be home so as soon as my workout was done, I wouldn't stress about beating traffic. I fell in LOVE. Everything about working out and choosing healthier options, I loved the strength and power and control I felt. About 2 years later, my disease went away, my body literally fought it off. And I've been going strong ever since. I got deep into fitness, I was certified through the American Council on Exercise and trained hard, but I kept restricting myself. I looked at all the other trainers, how super lean they were, their abs popped - they were "perfect. I developed B.E.D, or Binge Eating Disorder, from consistently restricting food groups and then binging because my body was legitimately starving for nutritents. Finally, about two years ago today, I gained control over this. I won't lie, sometimes I still struggle with B.E.D. - it doesn't just go away. But I've learned to stop comparing myself, I've learned what fitness and real health are, and what it means to live life, be healthy, and to be happy. Instagram is not life, fitness models are not reality, and I am here to help you get STRONG and HEALTHY the RIGHT way.
Goals
Ya'll, my Playbook is about utilizing different training styles to make exercise fun, confuse your muscles, and play around with what works best for YOU. With a mix of weights, kettlebells, and HIIT and Tabata training, our workouts will help you to build muscles WHILE torching fat.
Training Requirements
My workouts can be done on the go, at home, or in a gym but typically require dumbbells or kettlebells and a resistance band or hip band.
