January run challenge. 20 miles / week. This month is all about *building your aerobic base.* Base these runs off your max heart rate (MHR). If you don't know your max heart rate, run 1 mile at max effort to determine your threshold running heart rate. For this first month, run at 75-80% of your MHR. For example, my max heart rate is 177bpm. I do these aerobic runs ~135bpm (avg hr). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
