                    Hi there, I’m Emily! A little background on me and why I do what I do: Fitness and athletics have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a rural town of 700 people, tucked away in the rural mountains of northern California and if I wasn’t busy playing sports, I was probably going on a run or riding my bike somewhere up in the mountains. My love for competing grew stronger as I realized I had a knack for it and I became obsessed with challenging myself both physically and mentally. I went on to compete in track and field in college as I pursued a degree in Nursing because I wanted to help people be healthy. Four years of schooling later, however, I realized that the medical industry wasn’t the way I wanted to do that. I realized that helping people be healthy started even before they got to the hospital and that preventing them becoming sick altogether is what I was actually passionate about. I took a roundabout way of getting to where I am today - changing my course from nursing to a masters in business administration, an internship then career in medical device sales, getting recruited to the WWE, working for a fitness apparel company and hosting events, finding out I was pregnant, life changes due to the COVID pandemic, becoming an online trainer and starting a competitive career in CrossFit. And now all of these experiences inspiring me to create my own platform for a fitness program where people can feel empowered to pursue their goals. Things always have a way of working out the way they are supposed to when you follow your passions and search for your purpose. I truly believe that my purpose is to help others reach their goals by not only being an example of what is possible, but through a hands on approach. I want to be there with you along the way and be able to provide value through your transformation. True transformation doesn’t happen only on the outside, though. Real change happens within and it all starts with mindset. That is why I have adopted a “no quit” mindset and hope that through your experiences here, you will too. As a self-employed mom and professional CrossFit athlete, I know what it’s like to feel in over your head most days. Feeling like you have so many things to do, yet doing none of them well. Of loving your role as a parent and the fulfillment it brings, yet feeling like you’ve lost your own identity in the process. Sometimes it's hard to even express how you feel, but you don’t always need to have that figured out to show up. This is the place you can come for one hour a day to be present to the moment and feel EMPOWERED. We’re in this together and I can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish here :)

                    Frequently asked questions

                    Do I need equipment?
                    To follow the daily workouts, it is suggested to have some basic pieces of equipment to maximize your progress and get the most of each workout. Ideally you have access to a full gym but each workout also has options for modifications if you are limited. Here is a list of the basics that you'll want to have access to: A barbell, dumbbells and or kettlebells, at least one cardio machine (rower, bike, ski erg), jump rope, resistance bands, and a pull up bar. Although there are more pieces of equipment used throughout the program, the bulk of workouts use these items.
                    Is the programming for home or gym?
                    This program is intended to be done in either a gym or full home gym. Equipment you’ll want access to are barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, a cardio machine like a bike or rower, and more. The more you have access to, the less you’ll have to adjust the program. But don’t worry if there’s ever a piece of equipment that not everyone will have access to like cable machines, I’ll make sure to provide alternatives.
                    I'm a beginner, is your programming for me?
                    My program is built for people of all fitness levels. Whether you’re just learning to train or you’ve been working out for years and are looking to challenge yourself with something new, this program can be for you. The beauty of my program is that you’re the one determining how hard you push or how heavy you go every day. I always make sure to provide alternatives within my program so that people of all fitness backgrounds are taken care of.
