Welcome to the program. If you’re ready to build, improve, and actually feel prepared going into race day—this is your roadmap. I’ve got you. Let’s do this together. I built this as a 5-month Hyrox training program designed to get you fully ready — not just to finish, but to feel strong, confident, and ready for your race. 👉🏼 This program will be released in phases So you can build properly, progress intentionally, and peak at the right time — instead of burning out or guessing what to do next. Here’s exactly how we’re training: → 50% running / 50% strength + conditioning Because over half of the race is running… so we train like it. You’ll be working on: • Building your VO2 max (so you don’t gas out) • Zone 2 runs to build endurance • Tempo + interval work to improve speed • Compromised running (running on tired legs — just like race day) • Strength + Hyrox stations to build power and efficiency This is how you go from hoping you finish → to actually feeling prepared and in control. A few things to know: – This is a more advanced program – If you’re newer, you can do it — you’ll just need to modify – Workouts are typically ~60 minutes or more – A gym setup will give you the best results (home mods included, but gym will take you further) And the best part… You’re not doing this alone. About Eliza Katoa

Hey, I’m Eliza Katoa! Thank you for being here! I’m a mom, wife, certified personal trainer, entrepreneur, and one of seven kids. I’m obsessed with all things fitness, lazy beach vacations, family time, sushi, and homemade hamburgers. I’m so happy you’re here! My mission is to help you find joy and empowerment in your fitness journey. I believe in you, but it all starts with believing in yourself. Believing that you can overcome self-doubt and embrace a lifestyle of healthy habits that will create long-lasting confidence and fulfillment. 
 I created the Katoa Fitness app to foster a community of people actively pursuing their personal best. Having guided thousands of women and men through their respective health journeys, nothing is more fulfilling than clients stepping into their power and changing their lives.  My love for working out was born in my early morning team workouts in college. I had the amazing opportunity to play D1 PAC-12 volleyball. As a college athelte, I had access to an incredible team that consisted of a strength coach, physical therapist, trainer, dietician, sports scientist and sports psychologist who inspired me to get into the health and fitness industry. They helped me realize that health is about more than just working out. It’s about being balanced physically, mentally, emotional and spiritually. I graduated and began my career working for two different gyms doing 1-on-1 and group training. I decided to start my own group training business, Katoa Fitness. From there, I trained hundreds of inspiring people and learned so much as a trainer. There’s no question that the most fulfilling thing I get to witness each day is seeing my clients push past self doubt and work towards becoming the best and healthiest version of themselves. Making the decision to work towards a healthier you is hard, but here you are. I’d love to be part of your journey. All you have to do is step into your power and we can make it happen, together!

Frequently asked questions

Is this beginner-friendly?
This program leans more advanced, but you can do it as a beginner—you’ll just need to modify and scale where needed. If you’re newer, I’d highly recommend starting with my Strength + Stamina program (5 weeks) first to build a solid base, then jumping into this.
Do I need to run a lot already?
Nope. We’ll build your running base together—starting where you’re at and progressing over time. You can ALWAYS bike or do a different form of cardio as you build your running in this program. I'll provide modifications and a options to get you through everything.
How long are the workouts?
Most workouts are around 60 minutes or a little more. You can always adjust and modify the workout to shorten it according to your needs.
Do I need a gym?
A gym will give you the best results for this program. That said, I’ll include home modifications so you can still follow along.
How is the program structured?
It’s a 5-month program released in phases, so you’re building step-by-step and progressing at the right pace.
What kind of training can I expect?
A mix of running + strength/conditioning: – Zone 2 runs – Intervals + tempo work – Compromised running (running on tired legs) – Strength + Hyrox-style stations
Will this actually prepare me for HYROX?
That’s the goal. This is designed to help you show up feeling strong, capable, and confident—not just hoping you make it through.
