This home program is designed to complement your in-office treatment plan by progressively strengthening the lumbar spine and hip musculature. The goal is to improve stability, control, and endurance to support functional movement and reduce strain on the lower back. The program follows a phased progression: **Phase 1: Activation & Motor Control** Focus on establishing proper muscle engagement and movement patterns. Emphasis is placed on deep core activation (transverse abdominis), glute recruitment, and maintaining a neutral spine. Exercises are performed slowly with attention to form and breathing. **Phase 2: Foundational Strength** Once control is established, exercises progress to build strength in the glutes, hip stabilizers, and lumbar-supporting musculature. Movements may include bridges, supported hinging, and basic unilateral work to improve symmetry and coordination. **Phase 3: Stability Under Load** This phase introduces increased resistance and dynamic stability challenges. The focus shifts to maintaining proper alignment while the body is under load or moving through larger ranges of motion. Core stability and hip strength are integrated into more functional patterns. **Phase 4: Functional Integration** Advanced exercises replicate real-life and athletic movements, emphasizing control, balance, and power.
