Desiree was born and raised in the pacific northwest, she and her family relocated to California this year. She began her yoga practice in 2002, taking classes with her mom. In 2005 she moved to Texas and dove deeper into yoga. She fell in love with how yoga made her feel, both physically and mentally. After practicing yoga daily for 2 years she decided to become a yoga teacher. She completed her 500 hour teacher training program in 2008 and began teaching full time. Desiree has over 1000 hours training and has taught over 10,000 classes to date. Recognizing the benefits of yoga she introduced it her children, both her daughter (8) and son (12) have been doing yoga since they were born. She loves to help her students become the best version of themselves and seeing them progress in their practice. She teaches a variety of class styles including power vinyasa, hatha/bikram, slow flow, kids yoga, yin and private lessons. Desiree’s classes are playful and challenging, you will leave feeling happier, healthier and stronger.
