OWNERSHIP. That’s the name of this challenge for a reason. Because before you can change your body, you’ve gotta take ownership of your life. Your effort. Your choices. Your excuses. Your results. Nobody’s coming to do it for you. This is your eight weeks to stop blaming, stop waiting, and start owning everything that happens from here on out. You want confidence? Earn it. You want strength? Who is this for?

No matter what your goals or where you are at in your fitness journey, EVERYONE and ANYONE WORLDWIDE can participate in this challenge. We will have 3 different categories in this transformation: ∙ Weight Loss: This category is for someone new to fitness and just starting a dramatic weight loss journey. ∙ Total Body Recomp: This is where most people fall. This category is if your goal is to dramatically transform and recomp your body by losing weight and also gaining lean muscle mass. ∙ Shred: This category is for you if you are in-shape (but not comp shape) and looking to really test your body and get shredded or the leanest you’ve ever been. I’ll be picking both a male and a female winner in each category, that's 6 TOTAL WINNERS. I will be looking for the greatest overall physical transformation in all the categories. We can’t all be winners, but you set your mind right, you hold yourself accountable, and YOU DO THE WORK....no matter what you will win.

      How to enter & win ↓

      Be consistent!! I always say you don’t need the motivation to do the work; you just need discipline. Discipline will get you to the finish line. You will learn a lot about yourself in the next 8 weeks. Here’s how to get in: ‣ Sign up for the DLB Daily App (just $7/month). ‣ Register for the OWNERSHIP Challenge inside the app and submit your BEFORE photos by no later than Friday, January th. ‣ Follow the workouts of your choice (gym, home, or any program in the app). ‣ Use the DLBdaily nutrition guide + meal plans to fuel your transformation. ‣ Tune into the weekly live calls for accountability and also answer questions along your journey. ‣ Build your routine, stay focused on your goal and stay consistent for these 8 weeks. ‣ Final submission photos are due no later than Monday, March 2nd 11:59 PM MST ‣ Tap "COMPLETE" in the program to submit after photos along with a side by side before/after for the final submissions (you'll be prompted to do so in the app!).         How to take before and after photos 📸

        1. Tape a piece a paper on wall with: NAME, DATE, and current WEIGHT. I tape about level with my head and stand to the side of it so you are not blocking. 2. Choose the same angle/pose. Don’t do relaxed pose for before and then flexed pose for after. Needs to be the same exact pose! Make sure it is FULL BODY (head to toes in full frame). DO NOT take photos in mirrors. Have someone else take them or get a tripod. The more seriously you take these, the more helpful they will be to you! Front Pose: stand relaxed with arms at your sides Side Pose: turn directly to the side with arms raise straight out in front or at your side (your choice) Back Pose: stand relaxed with arms at your sides *Optional: Your Best Pose: You may choose to do a flexing photo for this. Either front double bicep or back double bicep. To show off your hard work. 3. Take them at the same time of day (I do mine first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything). By doing them first thing in the morning you will have no variables and you can really judge your progress. (continued below)

          4. Take them in the same location, with same lighting, and a clutter free background. Lighting I think is most important. Taking pics at the gym under fluorescent lights is going to looks very different then taking them at home in natural light. Find a nice natural light that is NOT too drastic. Natural light will give you more honest results. Find a plain blank wall in your house and always stand in the same exact location! 5. Wear the same outfit. I think wearing the same outfit is helpful because when your body actually starts transforming, that outfit will start fitting you different which can be great tool! Females: bathing suit or sport bra and shorts. Males: shirtless and shorts 6. Keep these photos so you can compare them every couple weeks. But you will not need to submit photos again till the end.
