Hello! My name is Cole Shaffner, I am a 21 year old Personal Trainer. I began my fitness journey back in high school, where I had some pretty terrible habits and got into a lot of drugs and alcohol. Eventually, this landed me in the hospital with blood clots in my lungs. It changed my life dramatically but also gave me a new outlook on life. A second chance to make things different. After a lengthy recovery process I started to go to the gym more than ever. Thatโ€™s when I found fitness and a drive to help others. I started my own garage gym where all I had was a squat rack, some plates, and a few dumbbells. I started to post unique and creative exercise content and the feedback was amazing. This inspired not only the name โ€œGaragegainzโ€ but a minimal equipment approach to fitness. Using what you have. A no excuses mindset. โ€œEarn Your Restโ€ is a motto I live by. With everything in life you have to earn it. Thatโ€™s why I love fitness, thereโ€™s no easy path. You earn your results on the daily. I specialize in bodybuilding type exercises with a goal of building muscle while staying as lean as possible year round. With me as your trainer you will have access to the workouts I use daily. Along with nutrition tips, exercise techniques, and daily motivation. I have been training clients for over 3 years and itโ€™s my passion. To help people reach their goals. What are you waiting for? Why only 10 latest workouts?
You have to keep up with me! I post fresh workouts and insights so you keep moving and learning!
Can I save workouts so they don't disappear?
Not yet! But message me what workouts you love or want to see more of!
Does the workouts require any equipment?
There are 4 week programs available for anyone with a barbell set or/and dumbbells along with plans for people with full gym access in the app! The daily workouts will mostly be a mix of dumbbells, barbells, cables.
What type of workouts are you sharing?
A mix of tradition weightlifting movements paired with unique exercises and techniques. Workouts that will help you build muscle and never get bored in the gym!
Whatโ€™s the main goal for your workouts?
Building muscle while staying shredded! These workouts are hypertrophy based. Reps in the 8-20 range and lots of controlled tension to stimulate the most muscle growth.
