Wrestling Mom 40 Day Shred Reset

Welcome to the Wrestling Mom 40 Day Reset!
This program is designed to get you back on track after the holidays or the busy season…or help you turn your training up a notch to get in the best shape of your Wrestling Mom career!
I have this 40 Day Reset structured with your busy schedule in mind - each week has 3 gym days (weight lifting and cardio) alternating with home based workouts (primarily dumbbells and bodyweight movements) on the other days. 
Each week ends with a mental rest of light cardio and a yoga flow. 

The workouts will be similar each week so you can become acclimated and improve your technique as we go, but there will be a different theme or variable to each week. 

Week 1 is pretty standard with high volume and lots of sets of 15. Study the technique videos and use this week to master the movements!

Week 2 we are going to add some time under tension by slowing down each rep, particularly on the eccentric, or lowering, phase of the movement. 

Week 3 we are gonna up the ante in time under tension by adding pause reps n addition to the slow lowering (negatives). 

Week 4 will be a different type of time under tension - minute long sets. This means most exercises will be done for 60 seconds where you will complete as many reps as possible. 

Week 5 will incorporate elements of all 4 of the previous weeks. 

The last 5 Days will consist of challenges based around the movements and cardio you had been utilizing - get ready to be amazed at how far you have come!

For the duration of this 40 Day Shred Reset I highly recommend you follow the Shred 6 Intermittent Fasting strategy. Remember to always consult with your doctor before beginning a new training or nutrition plan.
