About Claire Thomas

Online personal trainer

Howzit!? 🤙🏼 I’m Claire, a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach & yoga teacher from Oregon. After my career as a Division 1 sprinter & heptathlete ended, my passion for sport transformed into something deeper: a love of movement in all its forms, & a calling to help others discover their own strength from the inside out. In 2017, during my senior year of college, I launched CPT Fit Co. What began as a side passion project has since grown into a global community of hundreds of thousands whose bodies & lives have been transformed by the program you’ll find here in this app. Along my journey, I’ve explored a variety of different training styles while traveling the world & living a nomadic lifestyle (including three years of van life), which taught me how important it is to make fitness not only effective, but also flexible, fun, & accessible, whether you’re moving with just your bodyweight, unrolling a yoga mat on the beach, or strength training in a fully equipped gym. Here, you’ll find programs that reflect this journey, functional cross training, kettlebell flows, home & gym workouts, running programs, follow along yoga & mobility & so much more. My goal for this app is not about chasing aesthetics… it’s about falling in love with the process of taking care of yourself. It’s about honoring the privilege of movement & building a body that carries you through life with ease & joy. I’m so grateful you’re here. Who is this Challenge made for?
This challenge is for everyone. Whether you’re just starting out or already on your journey, the Rise in Fall Challenge is about more than fitness - it’s a full reset for your lifestyle. If you’ve been feeling stuck, craving consistency, or simply ready to realign your health, your routines, and your mindset, this is for you. It’s about establishing habits that support your body, your energy, and your life - so you can reset, reconnect, and rise into the best version of yourself.
Do I need to be active on social media for this Challenge?
No. Sharing progress is not required in order to win the grand prize. However, engagement in the CPT Fit App is strongly encouraged. There is a community newsfeed directly in the app where you can ask questions, share tips, & engage with fellow team members! There’s also an incredibly inspiring #teamCPT Facebook group of 45,000 members that’s FREE to join at any time! You’ll be able to comment after each workout & send messages directly in the CPT Fit App for 1 on 1 support.
Are progress photos required to participate in this Challenge/win prizes?
No. Progress photos are not required to participate or to be eligible to win my grand prize. I will not be taking into consideration physical change when selecting winners. A lot can change in 6 weeks & you might just surprise yourself if you give this challenge your all! If you do choose to submit photos, don’t worry, they won’t be made public without your permission.
What happens if I miss a day or even a week of the Challenge?
That’s totally okay! I’m looking for consistency, engagement, general participation + effort over the 6 weeks of the Challenge. Just get back to it the next day & give it your all! Life happens, don’t beat yourself up. You’ve got this!
How do I know if I officially signed up?
Make sure you sign up by filling out the form on my Challenge program. You can find the “Register now” button to officially sign up. Once you sign up, you will receive a confirmation page that says “Good Job!”. You can then view your registration by clicking “View Submission” and will see the "Registered" box at the top left.
Where is the Nutrition Guide?
This will be made available on Week 4 as a PDF for you to access. This will be my brand new Nourish Nutrition Guide exclusively for my app members only!
What daily movement should I follow?
You can follow whichever program is best for you, your goals & your daily schedule! There is no specific workout program with this challenge, just 30 minutes of daily movement. I encourage you to choose a program that you will consistently follow to get your daily movement in the best way for you! If you need help choosing a program to follow or need any direction, please message me in the app. I’ll be able to give more specific guidance just for you!
How to comment?
Once you complete your tasks for the day, you can “Swipe to Complete” at the bottom of the tasks. It will prompt you with a rating screen which you must do to get the prompt to comment. You’ll then see a screen that says “starting typing” to leave your daily comment. I read every single comment & can’t wait to see how this Challenge impacts your daily life!
Do I need to be a member of the FB group to win prizes? What does it entail?
Joining the #teamcpt FB community is 100% free & 100% optional! You do not need to be a member to win the grand prize for this challenge. I started this group back in 2018 & I am absolutely blown away at what it has turned into. There are over 40,000 inspiring, real, supportive members who are constantly sharing tips, advice, feedback, recipes, accountability and so much more!
