About Christina Mattison

Hi there! I’m Christina, and I’m a total yoga nerd! I left the corporate world after 7 years to pursue my passion of teaching yoga, and now I’m living life more joyfully and authentically. I discovered yoga while serving overseas on a military deployment, and it was my saving grace. I learned everything I could learn about it, enrolling in yoga teacher training at my first opportunity. I completed my 200 hour certification in 2017, and finished my 500 hour certification in 2020. My approach to teaching yoga is all about the WHY - I want you to understand the science and reasoning of what you are doing. My programs are created to empower you to take ownership of your physical, mental, and spiritual health through sustainable wellness habits. I use yoga and mindset coaching to build strength, stability, and mobility to support you in everyday life. Can’t wait to see you on the mat!

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to participate in this program?
A quiet, relaxing space. Maybe a meditation cushion or pillow, a folded blanket works great too. Feel free to enhance your experience with essential oils, Sage, music, etc.
Who are these meditations for (skill-level)?
All-levels friendly, to include beginners 😊
When should I meditate?
I recommend in the morning, or right after your yoga practice. Bedtime meditations should be done as you’re ready to fall asleep
