Frequently asked questions

Is this category appropriate for beginners?
Yes! It's specifically geared toward beginners, with slower paced classes focused on basic postures.
What if I don't have any yoga props?
No problem! You can use what you have around the house in place of props (see the list below). You may even be fine with none at all. Props are tools that will help you access more range of motion/flexibility, but their usefulness will depend on where your body is at and on your height (yoga blocks are sometimes too short for tall folks, for example!). Yoga Blocks: thick/tall books, or even dumbbells Bolster: firm back of the couch cushion Yoga Strap: belt or non-stretchy scarf Knee padding: thick blanket
How often are classes added?
Classes will be added occasionally, to eventually bank a dozen or more classes that can serve you over time.
Why are some classes shorter or longer than others?
For the sake of time, mainly! A consistent yoga practice is more important than a longer yoga practice. In other words, the length of class doesn't matter for beginners so much. Daily practice is better for you to progress. So depending on how much time you have, select the class that works best for what you want!
