Frequently asked questions

What equipment do I need?
It depends on the class. A yoga mat and 2 yoga blocks will always be helpful. Optional: Clear wall space is helpful if we are working on going upside down, and maybe a yoga strap!
I can’t get into my goal pose. What am I doing wrong?
Remember, getting the goal pose is not necessarily the point! Do your best and keep practicing. Otherwise, shoot me a message here or on Instagram @catvaladezyoga and I’ll troubleshoot it with you!
I am new to yoga. Is this program for me?
This program is not recommended for beginners. Some foundational knowledge of basic poses and transitions is best. If you are a beginner but have a strong athletic background, great body awareness, and a positive growth mindset where you’re ready to see what’s possible, this program might be a fit! Give it a shot. If it feels like too much, stick to my weekly practices or go to Foundations for more beginner-friendly classes.
