"Follow-Along Neck & Shoulder Stretch and Strengthening Video"
In my experience working with both men’s and women’s rugby teams, I’ve seen how crucial neck strengthening exercises are for athletes. They face unique challenges due to the positions they’re placed in during games, and building strength in this area is key to their performance and injury prevention.
But neck and shoulder strength aren’t just for athletes—it’s just as important for everyday life. Modern lifestyles, whether it’s sitting at a desk, lounging on the couch, or constantly looking down at our smartphones, put significant strain on these areas. This can lead to poor posture, discomfort, and even chronic pain over time.
This follow-along video combines stretches and strengthening exercises designed to relieve tension, improve posture, and build resilience in your neck and shoulders. By taking a little time to work on these muscles, you’re not just relieving pain—you’re also helping to prevent future issues and creating a stronger, more balanced body.
Take it slow, focus on your form, and remember to consult a healthcare provider if you have any injuries or concerns before starting. Let’s get moving toward healthier, stronger necks and shoulders!
Continue to do this at-least 1-2 times a week.
