Research shows that strength training is essential no matter our age, but especially as we age. Weight bearing exercise is the only way for us to build or maintain muscle so that we can build and maintain bone. And we all need to ensure we have strong, healthy bones in order to reduce our risk of falls, injuries and fractures that can lead to lack of independence. Perhaps you don't know where to begin. I'm Ashley and I specialize in teaching women 40 and over how to lift weights!

What is Learn to Lift?

Learn to Lift is an online exercise program where I start from the very beginning, teaching you proper form on fundamental strength training movements. My in depth instructional videos at the beginning of each workout feature me explaining in detail how to perform each exercise safely and effectively, just like I do in my in person classes. I'm Ashley Weingart and I am a Certified Personal Trainer and group strength training coach. I specialize in teaching women how to lift weights so they can experience the many benefits both physically and mentally. We all NEED to be training with weights, not just to build a body we feel good in, but to build bone, improve mobility, reduce risk of falls and injuries, improve cognitive and mental health and for a long, happy life. I know that going into the gym can be intimidating. That's why I began teaching All Women's Strength Training classes in person at my gym. Now, I am so excited that I get to help more women everywhere learn the same important techniques through my app! Once you complete the Learn to Lift programs, you'll be ready to graduate to my intermediate and advanced workouts which you'll find in the collections portion of my app! I can't wait to see you in the workouts!

    Hi there! I'm Ashley! I could not be more excited that we've found each other! I am a Certified Personal Trainer and I specialize in teaching women how to lift weights safely and effectively, so they can experience its many benefits both physically and mentally. Yes, strength training is the most effective exercise for shedding fat and boosting our metabolism, no matter our age. But exercise is no longer about losing weight or being skinny, it's about getting strong for the present and the future. It's about building a body that allows us to live our most confident, capable and independent life! Strength training has transformed me into my strongest and happiest self and I can't wait to help you learn to lift!
