This is one of my go to programs when I’m pressed for time — it’s a 3 days per week routine, which works nicely when you’re balancing a busy schedule.
The benefits of total body training include burning more calories in less time so it's ideal for fat loss.
It’s a great way to ensure you’re training all muscle groups in one workout with no muscles left behind.
It’s a gym-based routine so you’re gonna want access to a bench, dumbbells, cables, a pull up bar, basically the same equipment you’d find at your local gym.
If you’re goal is to gain muscle and pack on size, I recommend keeping cardio to two 15 minute HITT cardio sessions per week.
If you’re goal is to cut body fat, I recommend doing fasted cardio in the morning, on an empty stomach, 4 to 5 times per week for anywhere between 25 minutes to 45 minutes per session.
As always, I want you to lift as much weight as humanly possible and go to failure on each set!
