Hey Everyone! My name is April. I am a Mom of 4, a "retired" nurse turned full time stay at home Mom, turned Fitness Entrepreneur. I have always been passionate about health and fitness but it wasn't until after having my 3rd baby that I turned my life around and took control of my dreams and goals. From 2016-2018 I competed Nationally as a Figure Competitor and had the opportunity to write for TRAIN Mag as well as being featured in their Transformation Story. What has kept me the most busy recently, besides taking care of 4 kids (lol!) is running The Iron Shed Gym which I opened in 2019! It is a Women's only Gym in my home state of Minnesota. My mission and motivation is to Empower Women to Live Healthier Lives, One Generation at a time! I am SO glad YOU are here!!

Frequently asked questions

What type of workouts are you sharing?
The majority of the workouts you will find on my page will be At Home workouts that can be done with minimal equipment and in about 30 minutes! Once the gyms re-open, I will walk you through some killer gym workouts as well ✌🏼
Does the workouts require any equipment?
You will need minimal equipment. Dumbbells and/or resistance bands work great. I would also recommend purchasing a circular hip band like those from 4kor fitness.
What’s the main goal for your workouts?
My goal for you is that you move your body, focusing on resistance training exercises that will burn fat and build lean muscle to shape and tone your physique.
