Yoga/mindfulness instructor, almost Mom
Movement has always been integral in my life. From the age of 3, I began dancing and performing as my form of self -expression. Although I had this outlet or performing that allowed my body to release, I was often left with anxiety from overthinking and over analyzing situations. This freedom of body and stifling of the mind made me anxious to find balance within myself.
When I was eighteen, my mom took me to her corporate yoga class and I felt a dynamic combination of peace in my body and mind. The balance that I had been craving propelled me to learn all that I could about breath and the mind-body connection.
I began studying to become a Creative Arts Therapist and became certified in Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy, Vinyasa Yoga, Meditation, Sculpt Yoga, and Reiki Master Level.
Now that I am a soon-to-be Mom, I have been using my yoga training to relieve common pregnancy issues like low back pain and morning sickness, along with using other healing modalities to relieve stress.
