        Hi beauties, welcome to the family!! I’m Sophie, a personal trainer and full time corporate girly. I grew up moving every 2-3 years as a kid, born in Washington, D.C. and now in the Bay Area, CA. I graduated college from Chico State with a degree in Music Industry but I now work in sales in the corporate tech world alongside with social media and now personal training. I always knew I wanted to help others but I didn’t know until 3 1/2 years ago that helping women find themselves again, find their own love for themselves and their bodies, and view fitness as not only a way to change your body physically but to focus on the mental health benefits would be what I’m the most passionate about. Ever since I was a kid I loved moving my body (and was so rude if I didn’t get an adequate amount of energy out every day) and ended up finding a love for the gym over time. I played volleyball and did dance for the majority of my life, and the gym quickly took over as my favorite type of movement. It’s been a rocky rollercoaster over the last 10+ years in the gym and I 100% understand how it feels to be inconsistent, unable to find my “why” for moving my body, and feeling unmotivated. I’m here to teach you through my learnings how to keep yourself dedicated to you, move your body for reasons that don’t only apply to how you look, and to learn the basics you need to go crush it on your own. I’m so beyond happy you’re here and I cannot wait to work with you. So much love for you! <3

        Do I need to purchase equipment?
        It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
