I can't believe it's been a year from where we started! My biggest wins during this process were rethinking the way I saw food and what my plate should look like, particularly with protein. I think it was easy to say the medications and hormones made me gain all the weight, but now I know my eating habits were definitely off track. I enjoyed being able to eat what I wanted throughout this process in a disciplined way. Overall I am really proud of myself & what I've been able to accomplish in a year! There is still work to be done but the gains have been incredible. I think this gave me back some confidence in myself and also trust. I followed through on my word and that had been so valuable. I started Makronutrients 3 years ago with a goal of helping busy people reach their strongest and happiest selves. Like many of you, I wear many hats. I've had to find my way with fitting in workouts, prepping meals and making time for social life outside of work. Simple- ONLY a dumbbell!
I'm new to working out, can I still do this?
ABSOLUTELY! This program has step-by-step instructions on how to perform each movement as well as movement demo videos, recorded by yours truly! If a movement is too challenging with the dumbbell- modify it by taking the weight away and nailing down the movement pattern first!
