What are the goals of this program? This program is designed to help you take the first steps in building a physically, mentally and spiritually fulfilling yoga practice. We’ll move our bodies, meditate, chat about yoga philosophy, do breath work and discuss how to build a consistent practice.
My aim is for you to leave this program with clarity on your intentions for your practice, the tools you need to keep growing, and a positive habit in place.
Is this program beginner friendly? Yes! This program is designed with new practitioners in mind. Complete beginners, this one’s for you 😌
What do I need for class? No props needed except a mat! Props are amazing for all practice levels, but new practitioners often don’t have yoga props like blocks and straps at home. In this program, I’ll occasionally offer modifications that involve props, but whenever I do I’ll also show a household item like a towel or belt that you can use instead.
These classes can also be completed using zero props at all—household items, formal yoga props, or even a mat! If you don’t have a mat, practice on carpet or grass and wear pants to avoid knee burns. ☺️
This is a 14 session program that can be completed at your own pace. You can do 1 session per day in order to complete the program in 2 weeks.
