About Tyrell Martin

Tyrell Martin Born and raised in Minnesota. I've always had a passion for any and all sports. Growing up, I think I was involved in at least two sports and activities all year round. Football, Baseball, Basketball, Wrestling, Track & Field, even skateboarding was a thing for me back then! Looking ahead to today, I still find joy in every sport, even if it’s just watching them. From being a Varsity athlete at Henry Sibley High School to competing at the collegiate level at Augsburg University. I’ve learned a lot while undergoing the process of a hopeful professional athlete. I’ve learned that I love what goes into it all. I remember the day I learned that I was no longer a starting running back, in fact I was listed at 3rd on the depth chart. Thankfully, I was blessed with friends and family that helped give me the insight of an underdog, to prove everyone who doubted me wrong. I could have looked at it differently and started pointing fingers, but I decided to take the challenge head on, working on my craft every single day until I became the athlete I wanted to be. I believe that every one of us has that in us but just needs to find that spark to light the fire. What’s your spark?
