      About Taylor Peterson

      My name is Taylor Peterson

      I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist. I have 5 years of experience training clients in person as well as online. Fitness has truly changed my life and I cannot wait to share my passion with you in hopes that it transforms yours as well! My mission is to help women gain confidence and strength through movement. Now let’s talk about how I got here. Growing up I struggled with self confidence. I got tired of looking in the mirror and not liking what I saw. So I decided to make a change. Building up the courage to go to the gym was not easy at first. I felt lost and out of place. That is why I am here. I want to take the guesswork out for you. I want you to feel confident and empowered with each and every workout. Whether you are a complete beginner, or have a bit more experience in the gym I have something for you. As my approach to fitness has changed over the years, so has my training style. I like to dabble in a little bit of everything from handstands, to weightlifting, to plyometrics. It keeps things fun and exciting. No matter where you are at in your fitness journey I cannot wait to workout together!

      Frequently asked questions

      Do I need gym equipment?
      Yes, having access to a gym would be recommended. As you will need dumbbells, barbells, medballs, a squat rack, machines, etc.
      I'm a beginner, is this program for me?
      Absolutely! I decided to launch this program to prove to you that anyone and everyone can do it. you don't have to be a specific age or have any specific athletic ability. come as you are and we are here to help each other grow.
      What is the structure of this program?
      Its a week 1, Day 1 structure. There are 2 full body lifts each week and a daily 30 minute walk. The program starts out with more basic movement and slowly progresses to more challenging movements, including plyos and agility work towards the 2nd half of the 8 week program.
      How long is this program?
      Power up with mama P is an 8 week program BUT if you fall inlove you can 100% start the program over and complete it as many times as you would like.
      How can I track my progress?
      My favorite part about this app is that there is a tracking log. Where each workout you can insert the weight you used. That way you don't forget for the following week. It is our goal to increase weight very slowly each and every week. Another great way is to take progress pictures.
