Great class! 
Is there a class that goes into the details of lotus pose? I don’t really understand it.  It seems like I can do it but I don’t feel like it’s doing anything, other than digging my ankle into my thigh 😅  Maybe I’m doing it wrong

An amazing class! 
I suffer from acid reflux. I had/have from the past month and a half, I have been experiencing severe symptoms like from 0-10 (it’s usually a 10 which is like being me to the emergency room right now) but...
Today, I decided to do something different then just taking my medication. I did take my medication and usually takes an hour and the half to fully kick in, and the pain is very uncomfortable!!!! 
Today, I decided to practice yoga even though I was in a lot of pain...
Half way of the breathing exercise we were doing in the beginning of class, my symptoms went from a 10 to a 4.
By half way, I was feeling completely fine so from a 4 to a ZERO. 
I’m in tears right now on how much I need yoga in my life. I have been so focused on being an teacher and making sure I remember all the cues, poses, names etc that I have forgotten a little bit about my own personal practice and how much I need it. 
This is just showing me again that I need to make time for myself, and get healthier and staying healthy. 
I’m being forced to change my diet drastically or bad bad things will happen and you know what? I am ready for this change. I feel my body asking for it and I’m going to love myself, take care of myself, they way my body, my temple deserves it.
