Very good explanation of the twisting on the back. Yet this looks more like a variation of utthita parsvakonasana, because in trikonasana the hips doesnt twist they stay facing forward and move a little bit up and to the side. 
I understand there are many variations of the postures and I being enjoying your app a lot so far.
