Hi, I’m Summer!
As a ballet dancer, movement has always been a part of my life. However, I struggled with nutrition & developed unhealthy habits that persisted throughout my early fitness career. It wasn’t until 2020, after losing my uncle to Stage IV Colorectal Cancer, that I realized the importance of taking my health seriously. His passing was a pivotal moment that motivated me to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
Starting my health journey was challenging, with an overwhelming amount of fitness programs & conflicting advice. I committed to showing up for myself & gradually built healthy habits—reading ingredient labels, choosing whole foods, & finding fitness routines that I genuinely enjoyed. Slowly, my confidence grew & so did the results. The changes in my physical & mental health were undeniable.
By 2023, I earned my personal training & nutrition certifications, which inspired me to create BODY by Summer. My goal is to shift the focus away from chasing a "summer body" & instead emphasize finding a consistent routine you love, enabling you to maintain your best self all year long. It’s about getting off the hamster wheel of temporary results & embracing a fulfilling lifestyle.
Beyond the workouts, BODY by Summer includes journal prompts, nutrition tips & clean recipes to support your mental shift & personal growth. Whether you're just starting out or looking to elevate your health, I'm here to empower you to embrace fitness with confidence & celebrate your journey toward becoming your best self every season!
