What are the goals of this program? * Increase overall lean muscle mass
* Get lean and burn fat
* Build core strength
* Improve posture
* Improve mental clarity and focus
What do I need to participate? * A space at home to workout
* A set of light, medium & heavy dumbbells (light and heavy at least! But I recommend medium for more variety and challenge)
* Light, medium & heavy 9 inch resistance loops
* A light/medium weight resistance band with handles
* Foam roller recommended for recovery days
* A positive attitude and dedication to the program
Who are these workouts for (skill-level)? * The workouts are designed for all levels
* Beginners: go slow, use less weight, use longer rest periods, and focus on form
* Advanced: increase weight & resistance, reduce rest time as you progress
* Weight training 3 times per week
* Pilates with a band 1 time per week
* 2 days of active rest: When you rest from lifting, you should still remain active. Go for a hike, bike, a long walk, or swim. I recommend 2-5 miles of walking as a way to get fresh air and get your body moving with ease! - GREAT if you're looking to balance your nervous system.
* 1 full rest day with recovery stretching & roll out video for guidance
Are there any modifications for the exercises? * Yes! I’ve included modifications in the descriptions for each exercise. If you need further assistance modifying any workouts, send me a message in the app and I’ll be happy to help!
