Start your practice. Set up your space, set the mood. Let them join you! Pretty soon they will feel the difference that sitting in stillness can create and they will start to sit in stillness too.

Both of my kids ages 6 and 4 loved this meditation. The “butterflies in the tummy”analogy made it really easy to understand their feelings. My son said “mom, I really like this meditation, it’s fun!”
