    About Rockne O'Leary

    Online personal trainer

    I grew up in a Notre Dame family, named after Knute Rockne, idolizing Joe Montana. Football was my proving ground. As a kid wearing #3 I dreamed big: national titles, Heisman Trophy, Super Bowls all of it. I worked my tail off, grinding through practices and earning wins. College tested me, I saw scout team success as a freshman, then a sophomore year derailed by injuries. I almost quit, but I didn’t. I hit the weight room, showed up early, stayed late and kept pushing, even when playing time didn’t come. Junior and senior years, I continued to keep showing up everyday. Senior year I asked my position coach “What do I have to do to get more playing time?” His response “Rock coach just doesn’t want to play you” but I didn’t let that stop me. I kept showing up. Football taught me discipline: pads on, reps in, no excuses. After college, I chased finance and sales, stumbled, but never stopped growing. COVID flipped the script. I joined my mom’s Physical Therapy practice and found my calling: coaching. My path wasn’t Joe Montana’s. I was on my own journey, built on sweat and lessons earned the hard way. I’m a certified Dynamic Sports Performance coach, RKC Instructor & Kettlebell Coach University with 5 years shaping Delaware County’s middle and high school athletes. From Philadelphia to Nantucket, I’ve trained kids to get stronger, faster, and tougher. My competitive drive and dedication to be the best Rockne I can be fuels my drive for results.
