I am constantly telling my players, “If you have space you have options.”

We have introduced our drop stance, but we haven’t covered all of the options out of it.

In this workout we focus on:
• Drops
• BTL exchanges
• Shifts
• Change of direction

This segment focuses on being able to pick your feet up and split them rather than simply stepping in one direction.

Right hand
20 reps
2x thru

• Split your feet on each exchange

BTL BTB Continuous Drops

Left hand
20 reps
2x thru

• Split your feet on each exchange

20 exchanges

• Start in the right slot
• Drop thru to speed stop
• Retreat with left hand
• Reset to left handed drop thru
• Speed stop to right hand retreat

Drop Thru Continuous - Angles

Even after getting to your initial move you still have the ability to reset your feet within that space and get to a secondary movement.

Make 5
**Mix up your finishes**

• Drop thru
• Skip in place to reset your feet into a 2nd drop thru
• Mix up your finishes at the rim

Defenders make plays! If they do a good job of sliding to cut you off we need to have counters.

Make 5 pull ups

• Ball in the right hand
• Drop thru to low cross
• Left-right stop

Drop Thru Cross to Pull

Make 5 pull ups

• Ball in the left hand
• Drop thru to low cross
• Right-left stop

Anytime you can get to your drop you become very difficult the guard. Players that are able to get back to a drop after a stop or even harder to guard.
