When we attack the basket we need to be able to make a secondary move if the defense cuts us off. Today we take a look at a couple options in that situation.

20 reps w/ each hand

Let the ball lift to hip level.

Punch Dribble

2 Dribble Cross

2 Dribble In & Out

2 Dribble In & Out Cross

Ball Handling Circuit

Make 5 with your right foot starting forward and 5 with your left foot starting forward.

Rather than stepping forward with your back foot, have both feet meet in the middle.

Foot Replacement Form Shooting

Start with your right foot forward. Focus on keeping your body low and don’t go up and down in the movement.

Make 5 with your right foot starting forward and 5 with your left foot starting forward.

Foot Replacement Form Shooting • Scissors

Shooting Circuit

**1st set is w/ right hand • 2nd set is w/ your left hand • Reps = Makes**

Pull the ball to your hip (Pocket Dribble) as you split your feet.

Get into a one dribble pull up.

Drop to 1 Dribble Pull

**1st set is w/ right hand • 2nd set is w/ your left hand • Reps = Makes**

Get to your 1-2 stop and then attack opposite. Mix up your finishes at the rim.

Stop Exchange to 1 Dribble Finish

**1st set is w/ right hand • 2nd set is w/ your left hand • Reps = Makes**

Attack hard with one dribble before getting to a crossover. Take one dribble after your crossover and mix up your finishes at the rim.

Crossover to 1 Dribble Finish

**1st set is w/ right hand • 2nd set is w/ your left hand • Reps = Makes**
