Description: Zig Zag Dribbling to a Shot

This is a great way to work on dribbling and shooting in your individual training sessions. In this video you will see me only on the left side of the field but you should do this drill from a central position and also from the right side of the field to work on all angles around the box.

Here I am starting at a cone gate about 25-30 yards away from goal. The zig zag is about 5 yards away from this gate. There are 3 cones in the zig zag and then there is a cone “defender” about 5 yards away from the zig zag. Roll the ball or run with the ball to the zig zag, dribble through as fast as you can using one foot or both feet, and then make a move to the right or left of the “defender” and shoot on goal. 

Do this drill about 10-15 times on the left, right and center of the field!
