PilarFit Foundations: 4-Week Bodyweight Program Build your strength, endurance, and confidence—no equipment needed. This 4-week Foundations program is designed for beginners (or anyone starting fresh) who want to master the basics in just 20 minutes a day. Using simple yet effective bodyweight moves like reverse burpees, glute bridges, and plank shoulder taps, you’ll train your entire body while improving balance, mobility, and stamina. Each workout follows a mix of Tabata, AMRAP, and 4x-Time circuits to keep things challenging, fast-paced, and fun. Perfect for busy moms or anyone short on time—these 20-minute sessions will help you lay the groundwork for long-term results and set you up for your next fitness phase. No gym. No excuses. Just you, your body, and consistency. How to Progress: • Weeks 1–2: Stick to base reps/time. • Weeks 3–4: Add 1 extra rep per exercise (or push intensity in Tabata). • Keep rests strict—short & controlled.

About Pilar Lehmann

Online personal trainer

Born and raised in Colombia, Pilar’s passion for movement started early. From playing soccer and volleyball to taking on rugby and other sports, she grew up with an unstoppable energy and a love for staying active. In 1999, Pilar brought that same drive to Vancouver, British Columbia. Her competitive spirit soon led her to her first fitness competition — the Sandra Wickham Fitness Short Class Competition — where she proudly placed 2nd. That defining moment fueled her desire to pursue a career in fitness. She knew she wanted to help others experience the joy and empowerment that comes from feeling strong and capable. Pilar became a certified Personal Trainer and spent three years working with one of the largest fitness corporations. But in 2007, her entrepreneurial spirit took over, and PilarFit Personal Training was born. With a fresh, dynamic approach to workouts and a focus on building both strength and confidence, Pilar quickly earned her reputation as one of Vancouver’s most sought-after trainers. But Pilar isn’t just a fitness coach — she’s also a mom of three with a crazy busy life. Juggling family, business, and everything in between, she knows firsthand how overwhelming it can be to prioritize fitness. Do I need to purchase equipment?
It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
