    Born and raised in Colombia, Pilar’s passion for movement started early. From playing soccer and volleyball to taking on rugby and other sports, she grew up with an unstoppable energy and a love for staying active. In 1999, Pilar brought that same drive to Vancouver, British Columbia. Her competitive spirit soon led her to her first fitness competition — the Sandra Wickham Fitness Short Class Competition — where she proudly placed 2nd.
