Hi there. My name is Nydia “Nini” Muñoz. I’m 46 years old; I’m a wife, mom and dog mom who lives on a ranch in South Texas. After being a passionate middle school reading and writing teacher for 16 years, I decided to make a career change and received my certification in personal training and nutrition coaching, another passion of mine. Let’s go back on my timeline a bit. You see, I haven’t always felt healthy and strong. In 2012, I developed different ailments from vertigo, IBS, indigestion, fibromyalgia, migraines and fatigue, which all interfered with my quality of life. After seeing countless doctors and being prescribed all sorts of medication, which only served as a bandaid, I decided to take the initiative and did my own research. Let’s fast forward to 2019 when I discovered a natural way to detox the body; that was the kicker. That’s what commenced the realization in me that gut health is vital to our overall well being. My eating habits took a turn for the best by taking a simple and sustainable approach to better health and wellness. My medicine cabinet has been antacid and headache medication free ever since. It’s so liberating not being shackled to medication on the daily. In 2020, I finally gave into the notion that nutrition AND fitness are key to feeling one’s optimal self, so I decided to add exercise to the feel well equation, and it has given me my life back. Today, I feel better than I’ve ever felt before; I’m thriving and want to share my knowledge of fitness and nutrition with the world. I implore you to spend the next year creating progress towards your health and wellness goals. Jump on this “whole-life wellness” wagon with me and hold on! Goals
My playbook will take you step by step through different exercises including a dynamic warmup to prime the body, a range of functional strength training workouts to build strength and lean muscle mass, a static cool down consisting of stretching for flexibility and mobility and nutritional guidance and support to reach your goals. Keeping things simple to follow. Let’s have fun with it and LET’S GO!!
Training Requirements
My workouts will be done at a home and gym setting, so you’ll need a yoga mat, a set of appropriate dumbbells, kettlebell, a stepper and resistance bands and gym machines.
