Hi! My name is Nini Muñoz. I’m 47 years old; I’m a wife, mom and dog mom. After being a passionate middle school reading and writing teacher for sixteen years, I decided to make a career change and received certification in another passion of mine which is health, wellness and fitness. I am now an in-person and online personal trainer and nutrition coach who inspires and empowers women to make the necessary lifestyle changes to rediscover their self worth by healing and rising up. Looking back on my timeline, I haven’t always been the healthiest nor strongest. In 2012, I suddenly developed ailments such as vertigo, IBS, indigestion, fibromyalgia, migraines and felt very fatigued which robbed me of my quality of life. After seeing countless doctors and being prescribed all sorts of medication, (which only served as a bandaid), I decided to take the initiative and did my own research. Fast forward to 2019 when I discovered a natural way to detox the body...now that was the kicker! That’s what commenced the realization in me that gut health is vital to our overall well-being and learned that inflammation was the culprit behind my misery. My eating habits took a turn for the best by taking a simple and sustainable approach to healthier living. It was then that my medicine cabinet became antacid and headache medication free, liberating me from the shackles of daily dosing. In 2020, I finally surrendered & gave into the notion that nutrition AND fitness are vital in order to feel one's optimal self, so I decided to add exercise to the feel well equation, and it changed my life. Today, I feel better than ever after taking this monumental step. I’m now thriving and want to share my knowledge of fitness and nutrition with the world.
