Hi everyone, it’s Nicole! I am an ACE CPT online and in person and I am so excited to finally deliver an app dedicated to workouts for everyone! I’ve been an athlete for many years, playing competitive hockey up until grade 12. During my off season, I would take part in yoga, cross fit, kick boxing, cycling, swimming and so much more. I believe that if it wasn’t for my younger athletic years, I would not be the gym-goer I am today. Growing up I always centred my days around proper nutrition, hydration, exercise, and scholastics. It really made my foundation that fitness and health is not all or nothing. It is about creative a safe and balanced space that you can create longevity with. I think everyone should incorporate fitness and health someway in their life. For me these experiences have been nothing but positive.

Do I need to purchase equipment?
It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
