About Nick Makuch

Online personal trainer

I am a yoga teacher who is passionate about wellness and inspiring others to find their yoga practice. As someone who’s experienced four knee surgeries, a broken neck & back, a wrist operation and several broken bones I thought my body was destined to be less mobile, more achy and in a constant state of discomfort but I was wrong. I’ve overcome the odds, shocked doctors and have blown my own mind with a consistent yoga practice. I want to change the minds of those who think there’s no hope. In 2019, I traveled to the holy city of Rishikesh for my first training. In June of 2022 I went back and have since furthered my learning with Kayla Nielsen; accumulating 900 hours of training in ashtanga & vinyasa yoga. I’ll be sharing a mix of full length flows, short flows, mindfulness practices, and what’s helped me on my recovery journey. I look forward to seeing you on your mat.

Do I need to purchase equipment?
It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
